BIRTHDAY PARTY

JOLLY TIME SPENT Bowls of autumn-tinted flowers were arranged about the charming rooms of the home of Mr and Mrs A. E. Williams, Hukanui Road, recently when they entertained a few young friends to tea on the com-ing-of-age of their son, Lloyd. After tea, during which good wishes were extended to the guest-of-honour, the party adjourned to the Regent Ballroom, as the guests of Mr and Mrs Williams and spent a happy time dancing. Among those present were:—Mrs Effie Thomson. Misses Doreen Bisshop, Mary Carry er, Dawn Price (Thames), Alison Cower, Dorothy Griffen, Joy Williams, Taith Price (Thames).
