BOWLS PROGRAMME
CLAUDELANDS TOURNEY TOMORROW’S FIXTURES The bowls programme for Hamilton greens tomorrow will include several fixtures that were postponed from last Saturday on account of the unfavourable weather. The principal fixture will be a one-day tournament at Claudelands, for which excellent entries have been received. The champion of champions competition, which has been postponed several times on account of rain, will be played at the Frankton Club’s greens, Claudelands playing the Hamilton club and Whitiora playing Cambridge. Claudelands will also play Whitiora, the holders, for the Challenge Rinks Shield. Ordinary draws will be played on most greens. Whitiora will continue with its Mason Stars and Wait Shield competitions.
