WOOLPACK PRICES
(By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Thursday ! Explaining the Board of Trade 3 woolpacks revocation regulations, . 1940, which are published tonight with the Gazette, an officer of the Department of Industries and Commerce said that as all woolpacks for the 1939-40 season had been bought there was no need for a continuation of the present Order-in-Coun-cil. which fixed the price for that season only. It might be necessary to fix the price next season. 1940-41, but that was a question which could not be determined until the season's requirements of jute woolpacks had been purchased from Calcutta. The jute market would indicate that the price for woolpacks for next season would be higher, but very careful consideration would be given to that question before airy action was taken.
