B GRADE BANDS

FIRST TEST SELECTION HAMILTON IN TOP THREE MUSIC FOUND DIFFICULT 'By TelesrapU.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Tuesday The three top bands in the B grade first test concluded late last night at the Centennial Band Contests were Hamilton Citizens’, Wellington Boys’ Institute and Christchurch Municipal. That, according to the judge, Mr I Frank Wright, is not necessarily the order of merit. He said the bands found the selection “Spohrs” (Faust-Green wood) ! rather a hard nut to crack.
