H.M.S. ACHILLES AUCKLAND THIS WEEK ADVICE TO RELATIVES BE IN CITY BY FRIDAY (By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Tuesday H.M.S. Achilles, the cruiser of the New Zealand Division of the Royal Navy which played a gallant part in the defeat of the German pocket battleship Admiral Graf Spec off Montevideo in December, is on her way back to New Zealand and will proceed direct to Auckland. This was announced to-day by the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage, who said that relatives of members of the ship’s company who wished to be present when she arrived were advised to be in Auckland by Friday, February 23.

The expected time of arrival will be announced later. An official account of the ship’s activities will be published shortly after her arrival.
