HACK CUP TO KILCASII GAY MISS WINS AGAIN GOLD WINGS IN LAST Gay Miss, who scored another convincing success in the juvenile event at Te Rapa yesterday achieved the distinction of being the only favourite to win outright over the two days of the Waikato Racing Club’s summer meeting, which was concluded yesterday. As on opening day keen finishes characterised the day’s racing. Royal Appellant winning the Vercoe Handicap in an exciting finish, with the consistent Te Rapa representative, Racecamp, and Footloose taking the sprint honours over Orelio and Kathbella. Wildore won by a nose from Silver Stick in opening event, Loombination improved on Saturday’s running to take the measure of Lucidus in the Raglan Hurdles and Gamos prevailed in the blanket finish with Beseige and Yogi in the open mile. Kilcash won the Hack Cup, while in the concluding event Gold Wings won from Abbey King and Lady Clorane. Gay miss soon hit the rront and showed the way over the first rurlong to Lady Rloater. Radiant Vaals, Silveyor and Auburn Lad. with Beau Leon heading the others Gavmiss and Lady Bloater carried on in the lead across the top and they were followed into the straight by Silveyor.
