SINKING OF SHIPS

RESENTMENT OF NEUTRALS. FEARS IN DENMARK (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyrlg-ht) LONDON, Feb. 17 The sharpness of Norwegian temper over the sinkings of ships is revealed in a resolution passed by the Seamen’s Association and handed to the Government, threatening to instruct its members to refuse to sail in ships carrying cargoes to “ that belligerent nation which proudly aims at murdering defenceless sailors.” A message from Copenhagen states that Denmark fears that the latest ruthlessness against Danish ships constitutes the first attack on Danish agricultural exports to Britain. The National Tidende says attacks on neutral shipping are gradually bringing economic stagnation and death to neutrals.
