FLOWER SHOW
STRONG ENTRIES RECEIVED With entries coming to hand freely from many centres, prospects are bright for the Hamilton Horticultural Society’s Centennial flower show, which will be held in Alexandra Hall on Thursday and Friday The show will be officially openec at 2.30 p.m. on Thursday by the Mayor, Mr H. D. Caro. Dahlias and gladioli are the mair features of the programme, which also includes classes for cut flowers decorative, vegetables and fruit anc Women’s Institute competitions. The judges for the show will be as follows: Dahlias and gladioli, Mr A. J Shailer (Palmerston North); cu flowers, Mr M. H. Williams (Tt Awamutu); decorative, Mrs R. S Whitley (Cambridge): vegetables.
