The going was excellent and the best ell orts were those or LiaudAtf and Royal Bachelor over hair a mile, Cheddlngton and Sliver uuex over five lurlongs and Disdain over six lurlongs, while Baran and Pern put up the best figures Tor a mile. Calula Boy ran three furiong6 in 37 4-6 s He worked with plenty or dash. Great swoop had a good deal In reserve throughout six furlongs In 1.23 4-5. Silver Quex ran five rurlongs In 1.2 2-5. which was equal to the best of the morning. Beau Repair# Well Beau Repalre, Serenata and Royal Appellant were ln that order at the conclusion or seven rurlongs in 1.30 1-5 the six rurlongs in 1.17 2-5. Beau Repaire worked impressively and Serenata also shaped well. Dictate and Sly Fox worked soundly over a round which occupied 2.7, the last six rurlongs in 1.21 4-5, and Dictate. who fin Ished ln Tront, was staying on the better of the pair. Going well within themselves throughout, Catalogue and Beau Vlte pleased more than Beaupartlr, while traversing a mile in 1.47, the last six furlong* being covered ln 1.20 2-5. Catalogue was doing his work ln good style at the finish and Beau Vlte also shaped well. Beaupartlr was showing signs of soreness after he came in.
