SOCIAL AT CAMBRIDGE
ST. JOHN AMBULANCE The Cambridge branch of the St. John Ambulance Association held a social evening in the Oddfellows’ Hall recently, when members of the brigade were presented with certificates won during the year. Lilies and roses decorated the hall where a good attendance enjoyed the programme. Items were given by Misses Mona Ross, June Maisey, Joan Blackman and Mr G. A. James, who sang vocal solos. Miss Grace Cameron-Johnson played a violin solo. Misses Gwenda Nickle, Rita Price and Mrs Blackman were the accompanists. A feature of the supper arrangements was a large iced Christmas cake made by Mrs White and presented by Mr R. S. Entwisle. Among those present were:—-Mes-dames W. White, H. L. Nixon, W. Munroe, G. G. Dallinger, H. Betts, E. H. Leigh, Morris, George.
