AROUND THE GREENS CENTRE RINKS TOURNEY WAIKATO SHIELD MATCHES Apart from one game for the Waikato pairs shield, and one for the Waikato rinks shield tomorrow, bowling clubs in Hamilton will be occupied with ordinary draw games during the week-end. On Monday also, it is expected that ordinary draw games will be played on most of the Hamilton greens, and one-day tournaments will be conducted by the Whitiora Club on Tuesday and Wednesday. The South Auckland Bowling Centre’s rinks tournament will be held on the Hamilton Club’s greens on January 1,2, and 3, and altnougn entries will not close until 10 a.m. on Wednesday, entries nave already been received from 20 rinks. The following skips have entered teams:— Whitiora, J. Morris; Te Awamutu, W. J. North; Hamilton East, Graham; Claudelands, J. Shirley; Hamilton, R. Pilkington; Ngaruawahia, W. Rowe; Whitiora, C. Davis; Claudelands, W. Chapman; Hamilton, W. Robinson; Hamilton, R. Coombs; Frankton Junction, A. H. Lymburn; Ngaruawahia, M. Welsh; Whitiora, J. Nelson; Putaruru, A. Deiargey; Hamilton, Morgan; Frankton Junction, R. P. Bond; Hamilton, J. Gamble; Frankton Railway, P. Johnson; Matamata, G. W. Stewart; Hamilton, W. Aitken.
