SCHOOL DESTROYED

MASTER’S HEAVY LOSS (Special to Times) WAIHI, Thursday Fire destroyed the Waihi East School early this morning. The school, which consisted of five classrooms, was a wood and iron building, which had been standing for 34 years. Nothing was saved, the headmaster, Mr W. H. Stainton, losing a valuable library of books and music.
