BIBLE CLASS SOCIAL

A happy time was spent in the Matangi Church Hall recently, when the Bible Class organised a social evening. Games and competitions were enjoyed, interspersed with the following items: —Vocal Duets, Misses Gwynne and Pat Hicks; Highland

dancing, Miss Jean Pope; tap dancing, Miss Joyce Mclnnes; piancaccordion solos, Mr M. Evr. Mr D McDowell was master of ceremonies. The accompanists were Mesdames Hicks, French and Cathro. Those present were:—Mesdames C. French, Hicks, A. Davison, R. Norrill, Cathro. Misses Elsie Shaw. Gwyn Hicks, Mavis Sattrup. Joan McDowell. Pat Hicks Jean Pope. Joyce Mclnnes, Joyce Pope, Yvonne Taplin, Joyce Taylor, Ethel Hooper.
