FLIGHTS OVER GERMANY IMPORTANT PICTURES SECURED (United Press Assn. —Elec. Tel. Copyright) LONDON, Nov. 1 The News Chronicle says the Royal Air Force pilots’ seemingly purposeless flights over the German lines have resulted in the location and photographing of secret German aerodromes hidden in the woods. The whole of Western Germany as far as Berlin has been surveyed and enemy air bases have been listed. The Siegfried Line and its road and rail communications have been photographed in detail. Continued flights are keeping the information up io date. A report from Munster, Western Germany, claims that three British airmen were killed on Monday, when their aeroplane was shot down and caught fire. A German communique issued m Berlin asserts that six enemy aero- ! planes, of which four were British, were shot down on the Western Front and over the North Sea on Monday.
