FAILURE TO STOP (By Telegraph — Prt>-~* Association* NAPIER, Thursday Vivian Harvey Were was sentenced by Mr Justice Blair in the Supreme Court to-day to three years’ reformative detention for being intoxicated in charge of a car and causing injury. A like sentence was imposed for failing to stop and render assistance. Were received six months’ reformative detention for conversion of a car and was disqualified from obtaining a license for ten years.
