N.Z. CUP CARNIVAL
TO-MORROW’S FINE FIELDS TWENTY-ONE IN CHIEF EVENT SOME LIKELY FANCIES The Canterbury Jockey Club's carnival will open at Riccarton tomorrow when the chief events set down for decision are the New Zealand Cup and Stewards’ Handicap. Throughout the fields are well balanced and indications are for racing of a high standard. Betting will be on the win and place principle.
