SUPPLEMENTARY PAY HONEI EFFECT OF WAR RISKS (Official Wireless) (Received Sept. 26, 1 pm.) RUGBY, Sept. 25 The Maritime Board has agreed that the war risk supplementary pay money of mercantile officers and men while still on articles shall be as follows: Officers and engineers, £5 monthly: ratings, £3; boys, £1 10s. All will be retrospective from September 15. The British Director of Public Relations at the War Office, MajorGeneral J. H. Beith, appealed in a broadcast for volunteer skilled craftsmen lor all three aervum.
