ACCIDENT AT CAMP
WORKER'S SERIOUS INJURY (Special to Times) AUGKLAND, Saturday Mr Arthur William Dicks, aged 44, a carpenter, of Parau, while working at the Papakura military camp yesterday was struck by a collapsing wall, and received a fractured spine and head injuries. MOTOR COLLISION TWO OCCUPANTS INJURED (Special to Times) AUCKLAND, Saturday Messrs 11. F. Martin, aged 22, and Robert Reeve, both of Otahuhu, received head injuries and concussion when a car in which they were travelling struck a stationary vehicle in Newmarket yesterday.’ WIFE FOUND HANGED (Special to rimes.) PUKEKOHE, Friday On returning home for lunch shortly after noon today, Mr I. Fausett, of Harris Street, Pukekohe, found his wife, Mrs Evelyn Beatrice Fausett, hanging in a room by a cord. He cut her down and sent for a doctor, but Mrs Fausett was dead. An inquest was opened this afternoon by the coroner at Pukekohe, Mr C. K. Lawrie, and adjourned after formal evidence had been given. COLLAPSE IN CAR (By Telegraph.—Press Association) DUNEDIN, Friday Mr Ronald C. Ross, secretary of the Dunedin Carpenters’ Union, was driving his car through Milton today when ho collapsed and died.
