Mr G. M. K. Hagen, of Hamilton, will leave next week for Australia. Mr E. G. Ham has been appointed a member of the Kawa Rabbit Board, vice Mr J. B. Teasdale. Mr J. P. Kallagher, secretary to the New Zealand Friesian Breeders Association, was in Hamilton yesterday. Messrs A. M. Brodie. M.R.C.V.S., C. S. M. Hopkirk, D.V.Sc., and H. S. S. Kyle, G.M.V.C., are gazetted members of the Veterinary Surgeons' Board. Mr A. J. Anderson was the recipient of a chiming clock from the staff of tile New Zealand Co-operative Dairy , Company at Frankton on the occasion of his leaving the firm to take up farming. He had been in the service of the company for 18 years. The Right Rev. T. E. Riddle, moderator of the Presbyterian Church, who left for Australia at the beginning of the month, is returning to New Zealand shortly. He will be here for some months before going back to his mission work in the Punjab, India. Mr D. H. McKenzie has retired from the directorate of the Waipu Dairy Company after 39 years as a member. Mr McKenzie was one of the foundation members of the directorate and has served continuously, while for 23 years he has been chairman of the company. At a representative gathering on Thursday be was presented with a grandfather clock and a cheque for a substantial amount.
