CHESS CONTEST
WIN FOR HAMILTON A return match was played between the Waikare and Hamilton Chess Clubs at Te Kauwhata last night, resulting in a win for Hamilton by 8 points to 6. There were 14 players on each side. Mr C. Ballintine, president of the Waikare Club welcomed the Hamilton team, and Mr S. L. Paterson. S.M., president of the Hamilton Club replied, expressing the hope that the interchange of visits would continue for many years. Details of scores.
