IRIS WILKINSON

INTERMENT AT GUNNERSBURY LONDON, August 28. On August 2G the funeral took place of Miss Iris G. Wilkinson, at the Kensington New Cemetery, Gunnersbury. The service was conducted by the Rev.* F. O. Candy. Those present were the High Commissioner for New Zealand, Mr JJ. T. B. Drew, Miss Edith llowMartyn (Suffragette Fellowship), Mr W. R. Edge (Auckland, executor), and Mr F. A. Wright. Miss Wilkinson left a large quantity of material in the way of manuscripts, verse, correspondence. Every item has been carefully preserved and will be forwarded to her parents. The last article written before her death, “China: A Bulwark of the Pacific,” appeared in The New Times and Ethiopa News on August 2(5. The editor of this paper is E. Sylvia Pankhurst. Miss Pankhurst states that a further article written for that journal will appear in the next issue.
