Beau Vite, Geebung and Wilson showed to advantage at Rorebery, while Micawber revealed real speed at Victoria Park. Te Hero worked well within himself over seven furlongs in 1.323. Royal Chief strode on the tan and moved freely. He appears to be in good order again. The Derby colt Wilson ran six furlongs in 1.18, which was equalled by Beau Vite.
