PRE=WEDDING PARTY
MISS L. PEARCEY HONOURED Nixon Street Hall was the scene of a ■jolly evening recently when Mrs \V. Fensom and Mrs J. H. Morley tendered Miss IL. Pearcey and Mr R. Bottomley a gift evening in honour of their approaching marriage. The hall was gaily decorated with blue and gold stre-amers and greenery. The evening was spent in dancing, music for which was supplied by Mrs J. Ruff, Mrs G. Wright and Mr and Mrs L. A. Power, interspersed with items by Mr Meyer and community singing lead by Mrs T. (Barnett. Mr A. tt. Lewies was M.C. Following the serving of a delicious supper, Mr Lewies called upon the guests-of-honour to open the numerous gift parcels, and wished them every happiness and prosperity in the I future. Mr Bottomley suitably replied. Mrs Fensom was wearing midnight blue crepe, Mrs M-orley, black ripple crepe and lace, and Miss Pearcey, geranium red taffeta. Among those present were:—Mesdames A.
