CONCENTRATION BY GERMANY OX THE SLOVAK FRONTIER (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyrlg-nw (Received August 22, II a.m.) LONDON, August 21 The Associated Press of Great Britain's correspondent in Zilina, Slovakia, reports that 250,000 German troops, accompanied by artillery and aircraft, are stationed on the Slovak frontier, Poland's southern flank. BERLIN, Aug. 21 Strong Polish troop movements and concentrations are reported along the borders of Moravia at many points. Roads and bridges are reported to have been mined in the vicinity of Jablunka. British journalists have not received official warning to prepare to evacuate, but will meet this evening to discuss the methods of the quickest evacuation in the event of war. POLAND AND DANZIG PROLONGED CUSTOMS DISPUTE RELEASE OF TWO OFFICIALS (United Press. Assn.—Elec. Tel. copyright) (Received August 22, 11 a.m.) DANZIG, August 21 Officials of the Polisli Ministry of Finance conferred with representatives of the Senate and the chief inspector of customs in an effort to settle the prolonged customs dispute. Two Polisli customs officials who were arrested on August 1G on charges of distributing anti-Nazi leaflets have been released.
