The Rt. Rev. C. A. Cherrington, Bishop of Waikato, returned from Wellington to-day, after attending a meeting of the Standing Committee of General Synod. Mr S. E. West, of Greymouth, is visiting Hamilton. Messrs T. W. White (Wanganui), M. Stewart, D. Cooper, R. T. Giles, T. P. Fotheringham .Wellington) and H. G. Knowles Auckland, are at the Hamilton Hotel. Mr S. J. Harbutt, chairman of the Auckland Electric Power Board, was in the Waikato during the week-end and attended the Ohaupo School Jubilee celebrations on Saturday, of which school Mrs Harbutt (nee Sturgess) was an old pupil.
