SPECIAL FORECAST (By Government Meteorologist) The special forecast by the Government Meteorologist, covering the Waikaio-Thaines Valley Is as follows: — General situation: An extensive system or weak depressions covers the Dominion, and the Tasman. The situation will probably develop into the westerly type. Forecast: Light variable winds with westerlies prevailing and freshening somewhat.
