BOROUGH RATE
INCREASE IN ROTORUA (Special to Times) ROTORUA, Thursday An increase in the consolidated rate from ’i.o7-id to 2.220 d, equivalent to 12s 2d per £luou of capital value, lias been approved by the Rotorua Borough Council. The chief reason for the increase is the higher levy imposed by the Waikato Hospital Board, £2174, £O3O more than last year.
