BOXING TITLES
SOUTH AUCKLAND FIXTURE BOUTB FOR TOMORROW With 65 entries to hand from all parts of the Auckland Province, the South Auckland Boxing championships •will be held in tho Y.M.C.A., Bryce Street, tomorrow afternoon and evening. The nominations already to hand include boxers from Auckland. Rotorua, King Country and Waikato and it is expected that many more will come forward before the first round starts tomorrow. The amateur bouts already staged by the Hamilton Boxing Association this season have given evidence of a great advance in the standard of boxing in the district and keen contests should be the order tomorrow. The preliminary elimination /rounds will be held during the afternoon and the finals will be decided in the evening. An inleresting contstant tomorrow will be Buster Boyle, the well-known llawkes Bay fighter who won the Dominion flyweight title last year. Tomorrow Boyle will be seen in the bantam weight and featherweight classes. In view of the championships being held this week-end the Hamilton Boxing Association has decided to postpone the Caltaux-Stock fight until September 2. The bout will take place in the Y.M.C.A.
