LONDON MARKETS QUIET NEW ZEALAND BONDS DOWN VERY LOW PRICE FOR SILVER (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received July 11. 3.15 p.m.) LONDON, July 10 The stock markets are quiet.. British funds are firm and occasionally dearer. New Zealand bonds mostly are marked down a point. The decline in silver to 16s 1 1-13 d is the lowest since Britain left the gold standard in 1931, due to heavy offerings, nervous holders, and a dearth of buyers owing to uncertainty regarding the buying policy of the United States.
