MADRID, July 10 The ex-Speaker, Senor Julian Besteiro, was sentenced lo thirty years’ imprisonment for rebcilion. Senor Besteiro was a moderate Socialist, leader. The prosecutor demanded the death penalty. This was considered a test case reflecting tiie whole position of political respousibiiily iu Spain.
