SHOPS RAIDED
FRUIT MACHINES SEIZED PROPRIETORS CHARGED (Special to Times) AUCKLAND, Saturday The police yesterday raided three shops in Auckland and one in Onehunga. in which they seized nine fruit machines, and arrested the proprietors, who were subsequently charged with keeping gaminig premises and remanded on bail until Monday. They were Patrick Henry Rice Daly, aged 31, of Onehunga; Spencer Frank Browne. aged 5>5, tobacconist. Symonds Street: Clarence George Henson, aged 3*B, of Karangahape Road; and’ James Alfred Sparks, aged 41, grocer, of Victoria Street.
