Making Golf Dear
Crows arc making golf dearer in New South Wales, where hundreds of halls have been stolen from courses by the birds within the last few weeks. Golfers arc offering rewards to caddies who bring them dead crows or egg*. More than 20 halls a week are stolen by birds, and the crows are becoming so bold that they often soar lazily above the players until balls have been hit towards the greens. Then they dart down, snatch them up and carry them off to their nests. One player lost live halls, stolen by crows, duping the course of a single round
