COMING-OF-AGE PARTY

HAPPY SURPRISE EVENING A very pleasant and enjoyable surprise party was tendered to Miss May Watson, of Dudley Terrace, Frankton, on Thursday night, on the occasion of her coming-of-age. The evening was spent in dancing, games and competitions, a very happy spirit prevailing throughout the party. After the delicious supper was served Miss Watson cut the birthday cake, and was handed the key of the house by her father, who wished her every happiness in the future. The guest-of-Jionour suitably replied. Mrs L. Watson received the guests wearing Burgundy crepe Yendome, and Miss Watson was in a nut brown ensemble. Among those present were:—Misses l. B. Turner, E. King, E. Bliss, V. Bliss, 1. Haining, V. Oliver, C. Wright.
