A Hat’s a Hat for all that
the very antithesis of this season s hat fashions, which are mainly toques swathed in veiling. For the young and daring is the model on the left with its ridiculous flat crown and jaunty quills stuck in the top. Veil draperies encircling the neck and shoulders give a deceptive demureness to the third model, which is fashioned of plaited chiffon in misty blue and is the last word in sophistication. If there is any truth in the idea that the hats worn by a woman are an indication of the state of her mind, 1 wonder what deep-seated psychic meanings these three hold!
