INJURIES PROVE FATAL FARMER DIES IN' HOSPITAL The death occurred in the Waikato Hospital yesterday by Mr Claude Harry Doe, aged 54, single, a farmer of Kinohaku, from injuries received on June 14 when a cow forced him against a fence and severely gored him. At an inquest opened before the coroner, Mr F. W. Platts, evidence was given by Dr. C. R. Preston that an operation had been performed following admission to hospital. The patient had made good progress until septicaemia set in. His condition became worse and death from septicaemia and septic wounds resulted. The inquest was adjourned.
