LYCEUM CLUB
CLEVER PROGRAMME PRESENTED MANY MEMBERS ENTERTAINED It is seldom that members of the Lyceum Club have the privilege of being entertained by such talented artists as those belonging to the Cambridge Dramatic Society, who last night presented a most enjoyable programme in the lounge of the club. The entertainment was under the direction of Mrs E. E. Taylor and was of a very high standard, the artists acquitting themselves in a most convincing manner, to the appreciation and applause of the many members present Bowls of hydrangeas and golden wattle were charmingly grouped about Ihe lounge and the stage was cuniplelely transformed by an artistic, arrangement of curtains. Mrs lluerli Douglas, wearing a frock of black panne velvet, expressed Ihe gratitude of the club to Mrs E. E. Taylor and fo the following artists: — Mrs M. Halford, Mrs \Y. Mum-op, Miss June Maisey, Mr C. Meredith. Mr Neville Soul or, Mr G. Easier, Mr S. Nicholson, Mr V. Maisev, Mr G. E. I lay don. A delicious supper was served during the evening.
