LOAN BALLOT
STARR-BOWKETT SOCIETY APPROPRIATION OF £IOOO A ballot for the appropriation of £IOOO was conducted by the Hamilton ■Starr-Row kett Society’ last night, when Air W. Bourne presided. The winning cluster was number 109, the five shares representing three persons. Mr W. H. Paul, of Hamilton, has two shares, Air N. H. Hume, of Palmerston North, two shares, and Mr G. Mcßobertson one share. Those with two shares receive a loan of £4OO free of interest for 12J years, and the person with one share receives £2OO on the same terms.
