SPECIAL FORECAST (By Government Meteorologist) The special forecast by the Government Meteorologist, covering the Waikato-Thames Valley is as follows: Forecast: Light and variable winds with east to north later predominating. Weather fair to cloudy. Temperatures becoming mild. Seas slight to moderate. General Situation: An anticyclone envelops the Dominion and extends over the Tasman Sea, but conditions are becoming disturbed in eastern Australia.
