CARDS AND DANCING [ I Another successful card and dance , evening was held in the Waitoa Hall re- \ cently under the auspices of the Hall j Committee. A large number xvas ; present, including many visitors from j the surrounding districts. An enjoyable evening was spent, : music for dancing being provided by , an orchestra from Te Aroha. A novelty dance was won by Miss \. Hyd* and Mr J. Steer. Mr A. H. Holland ; was dance M.C. The winners of the five hundred card tournament which was held In conjunction with the dance were Mrs L. Miles (Waiiiou) and Mr C. J. Luxton. Mr A. G. Graham had charge ; of the card room. A delicious supper was served by | the committee.
