MANGERE SCHOOL JUBILEE
The Mangcre Ontra! School. Auckland. is lo lu-ld its jubilee and reunion celebrations at a four-day function to be held from July 27 to 30. This school is probably the oldest in the province, having: been opened in 1>59. M.my scholars have passed through to hold high positions in the land. it. is recalled that the late Rt. Hon. W. F. Massey was chairman of e scl ( ttee for many years. Among the past scholars are Dame Christina Mr \V. S. Goosman, M.P.. Mr J. F. M :?sey, M.P.. Mr N. T. J.nmbourne, Director of Education. The chairman of the celebrations committee is Mr Matthew B. Kirkbride. and the deputy-chairman, Mr A. \Y. Wpstney. q’he organisersecretary is Mr A. T. Dow, of 9 Ilona Avenue, Mount Eden, to whom old ■students should apply for registration
