AMERICAN RABBI CHARGED REQUEST FOR EXTRADITION (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) PARIS, June 14 A naturalised American rabbi, Isaac Leifer, has been placed on trial for allegedly being in possession of concealed drugs in the covers of Bibles. When arrested he had 21 Bibles in in his car, there being two packets of heroin in each. The United States has applied for Leifer’s extradition.
