OBITUARY
MRS EDNA ADALINE PLAW (Special to Times) CAMBRIDGE, Wednesday The death occurred suddenly in a private hospital in Hamilton on Tuesday of Mrs Edna Adaline Plaw, wife of Mr 11. R. Plaw, of Victoria Road, Cambridge. The late Mrs Plaw was born at Aramoho, Wanganui, a daughter of the late Mr and Mrs A. J. White. For some years she was an exchange clerk in the Wanganui Post Office, and later she was on the staff of the Auckland Hospital. She came to live in Cambridge six years ago, after being married to Mr Plaw at Wanganui. She is survived by her husband and two young daughters. FORMER VALUER MR H. J. C. COUTT3 AUCKLAND, Thursday A former New Zealand representative footballer and cricketer, who later became officer in charge of the Government Valuation Department in Auckland, Mr 11. J. C. Coults, died yesterday at his home at 1 Old Lake Road. Devonport, aged 78. Entering the Valuation Department at the azp of -19. Mr Coutts was first stationed at Hawera as district valuer and later he was at Nelson, Hawke's Hay and Gisborne. He then became valuer in the King Country and on his transfer to Auckland he was appointed officer in charge of ilie Auckland department. which position tie occupied for seven years. Mr Coutts retired in 1926 after 26 years’ service. Mr coutts i> survived by his wife and four daughters. There are three grandchildren.
