Rain Tall for year to date, 17.371 n. Average yearly rainfall, 46.32in. SPECIAL FORECAST (By Government Meteorologist) The special forecast by the Government Meteorologist, covering the Waikato-Thames Valley is as follows: Forecast: Light to moderate couth-west to west winds, freshening at times. Occasional scattered light showers are possible, especially in the west, but weather mainly Tair. Moderate temperatures. Seas rough on west; slight on east coast. General situation: The recent anti cyclone is centred in the north Tasman. Situation is becoming more of a westerly type.
