Partly fair to cloudy weather is indicated to-day and to*morrow—with higher temperature—westerly winds prevailing—scattered rain. The Rainfall Rainfall Tor 2i hours ended 9 o'clock thi- morning, .021 n. Rain Tall for previous 2 i hours .00in. Rainfall for June to date, age rainfall for June, 5.19in. Rain Tall for year to date, 17.371 n. Average yearly rainfall, 46.32in. SPECIAL FORECAST (By Government Meteorologist) The special forecast by the Government Meteorologist, covering the Waikato-Thames Valley is as follows: Forecast: Light to moderate couth-west to west winds, freshening at times. Occasional scattered light showers are possible, especially in the west, but weather mainly Tair. Moderate temperatures. Seas rough on west; slight on east coast. General situation: The recent anti cyclone is centred in the north Tasman. Situation is becoming more of a westerly type.
