ARMY ORDNANCE DEPOT ANONYMOUS THREATS (Independent Cable) LONDON, May 10 following anonymous threats received at a Royal Air Force station near by. there was a big lire at the Army Ordnance Depot near Nottingham last night. The depot is one of the chief distributing centres of army cars. The Australian Associated Press, in a later message, says ttie petrol tanks burst and one large shed was destroyed, but the other was saved. if is officially staled that no vehicles were damaged" and that a large number of tyres was saved. A soldier has been remanded on a charge of setting lire to the ordnance building.
