PALESTINE PROBLEMS
DISCUSSIONS IN CAIRO EARLY DECISION HOPED FOR STATEMENT IN TIIE COMMONS (Received April 18, 3.15 p.m.) LONDON, April 17 The Egyptian Ambassador has returned from Cairo, where the Palestine problem was again discussed. It is understood that the Italian invasion of Albania has made a deep impression on the Arab States. Steps are likely to reach a decision regarding Palestine at the earliest possible moment. Mr Malcolm MacDonald is expected to make a statement on the subject shortly-in the House of Commons.
