Copyright) ADELAIDE. Feb. 24 The final Sheffield Shield match, which will decide the destination of the shield, opened to-day. South Australia, captained by Don Bradman, sent Victoria in to bat, owing to a damp and sweating wicket. Victoria in its first innings has lost six wickets for 284 runs (Rigg 78, Gregory 33, Hassett, not out, 84, Barnett, 51).
