Feb. 2 At the wool sales 7492 baleg wers offered including 2651 of New Zealand, 6015 bales being sold. There was a good selection, chiefly of Australian Merinos, which sold well. Bradford Tops Market Firmer The Bradford market is firmer and business more encouraging. Merinos: Seventies. 2Gsd; sixtyfours, 25d; sixties. 24d; crossbreds, fifty-eights, 2 Id; fifty-sixes, 19J; fifties, 17d; forty-sixes. 16d ('nominal); forty-fours, 16d (nominal).
