OBITUARY

MRS R. H. POLKINGHORNE (Special to Times) WAIHI, Monday The death has occurred at the Waihi Hospital of Mrs Sarah Louise Polkinghorne, aged 82, widow of Mr Kichard Henry Polkinghorne. Mrs Polkinghorne’s father, the late Mr Thomas Voules, of Hamilton, was granted a section for services in the Maori war. The family removed to Thames following the gold rush in 1872, where Mrs Polkinghorne was married. In 1900 she came to Waihi, where she had since resided. She is survived by two sons. DR. P. R. Nash, and officers of their departments conferred with representatives of the British Medical Association this morning.
