MARKETING PRODUCE

NEW ZEALAND’S METHOD APPLAUDED IN AUSTRALIA 'CO-OPERATION ADVISED (United Press Assn. — Elec. TM. Copyright» SYDNEY, Jan. 25. Co-operation with New Zealand on the London butter market would produce a rich reward for both Australian and New Zealand producers, said Mr J. R. King, the general manager of the Producers' Co-operative Distributing Society, Limited, at the annual meeting of the company. Mr King said he had been impressed by the efficient way in which the New Zealand Dairy Department was handling the marketing of produce in London. It was essential for Australia and New Zealand to work together and collaborate on butter consignments to the outports.

The withholding of supplies on overloaded markets should also be the joint work of the Australian dairy produce board and the New Zealand department. This would do away with undue rises and falls.
