DAVIS CUP TENNIS
DOMINION’S TEAM N. V. EDWARDB INCLUDED COOMBES AND MALFROY (By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Thursday The New Zealand Tennis Association has decided to challenge for the Davis Cup in the European zone. The team will consist of G. E. Malfroy (captain), D. C. Goombe, who will act as manager, and N. V. Edwards. The first two are in England now. N. V. Edwards is present holder of the New Zealand singles title. Neither Malfroy nor Goombe played in the Dominion this season.
